Born in the Heart of the Himalayas
Founder of Manaslu Guides Nepal Mr. Madan Neupane, born in a small village of the Manaslu area. Surrounded by towering peaks and rolling valleys, grew up in a community that values hard work, tradition, and hospitality. His journey in trekking began humbly as a porter, carrying travelers’ belongings through challenging trails, which allowed Him to meet people from around the world and sparked his passion for sharing the beauty of his homeland. Through dedication and passion, he grew into a professional trekking guide and later established Touch The Himalaya Treks and Expedition, now celebrating over 15 years of service.
Nepal Earthquake-2015
A Region Shaken, a Community United
In 2015, a devastating earthquake struck Nepal, heavily affecting the Manaslu area. Thousands of lives were lost, homes destroyed, and livelihoods disrupted. Witnessing this tragedy firsthand, Madan felt compelled to act distributing emergency supplies, setting up temporary shelters, Helping the victims and organizing health camps for affected families. This was the moment He realized that tourism could help restore hope to his community.
From this vision of recovery and sustainability, Concept of Manaslu Guides Nepal was created. Our team of guides and porters are locals, passionate about sharing their knowledge, culture, and pride with travelers. Every trek supports local families, preserves traditions, and strengthens our community.
