Our Pevious trekkers genuine feedback towards our treks, staff and events
Booking our trek with Manaslu Guides Nepal was truly the best decision we made for our Manaslu adventure. Madan, the owner, answered all our questions patiently before the trip and was incredibly reliable and professional. He planned our entire trek perfectly according to our wishes, making sure everything went smoothly from start to finish.
Our trekking guide was Pratab, and our porter was Sandip. Pratab is a very experienced and genuine guide who speaks excellent English and has deep knowledge about Nepal’s culture, nature, and people. He wasn’t just a guide to us, he became a real friend during our two weeks together. He always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We had so much fun and really enjoyed every moment with him. Thank you for everything, Pratab.
Sandip was an incredible help throughout the trek, not only because he carried our bags but because he is such a kind, polite, and positive person. We loved spending time with him, listening to Nepali music he introduced us to, and learning more about the culture from him. Thank you so much, bai, for all your help and kindness.
Our trip was absolutely perfect, and these two amazing guys made it even more special. Pratab and Sandip are the perfect team, and we look forward to trekking with them again in the future.
This was my second visit to Nepal, and along with eight Japanese friends, all students, we completed the Manaslu Trek in January 2017. Words cannot fully describe how amazing this trekking experience was, all thanks to our guide Madan Neupane, who is also the owner of Manaslu Guides Nepal. We had met him the previous year, and he personally organized and guided our trek.
Madan speaks excellent English, is extremely knowledgeable, and is an expert on the Manaslu region, being a local himself. On the way to Manaslu, he even brought us to his hometown, Lapudanda, where we stayed overnight. It is a beautiful village with incredible views of parts of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal.
From the very start, everything felt perfectly organized. Madan was an incredible guide who always made sure we were happy and comfortable. As a local, he knows every corner of the Manaslu region, which made our journey even more special. After six days of trekking, starting from Shyala, the daily panoramic views of the mountains, especially the towering Manaslu, made us forget all hunger and fatigue. The view from Larke La was absolutely breathtaking.
He also shared insights about the Tsum Valley, another amazing area that was not part of our plan. We have already decided to explore Tsum Valley next year with Madan and Manaslu Guides Nepal.
I have no doubt in recommending anyone who wants to explore the Manaslu region to contact Madan Neupane at Manaslu Guides Nepal. He will make your trip unforgettable. A big thank you again to Madan and the entire team.
My name is Bill and I have just returned home after trekking in the Everest region with Manaslu Guides Nepal. My guide was none other than my Himalayan Sherpa, Rajesh. When you arrive in Nepal and walk around Thamel looking for a trekking company, it can be incredibly overwhelming to choose. I finally decided on Manaslu Guides Nepal because of their friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff.
What makes this company special is that it is owned and run by actual guides, not just a boss, and that makes a huge difference. Rajesh spoke perfect English and his knowledge of the region was impeccable. Every mountain in the area, its name, height and climbing difficulty, he knew it all.
I am more into mountain climbing than trekking, but I wanted a close-up view of the mountains I hope to summit one day. Having such a knowledgeable guide made the trip unforgettable. Even other trekkers from different companies commented on how great Rajesh was compared to their guides.
I feel incredibly lucky to have had Rajesh as my guide, and I am proud to now call him my friend. I will 100 percent be using Rajesh from Manaslu Guides Nepal again for my future trips to the Himalayas. Thank you, Manaslu Guides Nepal, and especially thank you to my guide and friend Rajesh. See you soon.
