Terms and Conditions of Manaslu Guides Nepal

Manaslu Guides Nepal values the Privacy of our clients, website visitors, and partners. These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, services, and agreements made with Manaslu Guides Nepal. By booking any Tour and Trek with us, submitting an inquiry, or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Manaslu Guides Nepal operates in cooperation with its parent company, Touch The Himalaya Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd., which manages bookings, payments, permits, and administrative processes on our behalf.
These Terms and Conditions explains:
Scope of Services
Manaslu Guides Nepal provides:
- Trekking, Tour and guiding services in all over Nepal (Mainly in the Manaslu Region)
- Local logistics, guiding staff, and operational support during the service we provide.
All administrative matters, including bookings, payments, and permit processing, are handled by Touch The Himalaya Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd.
Booking & Confirmation
- A Service is considered confirmed only after:
- Written confirmation by email, and
- Receipt of the required advance payment.
- Booking details, itinerary, and inclusions will be confirmed in writing prior to arrival.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the personal information they provide (passport details, dates, names) is accurate.
Payments
- Payments are handled by Touch The Himalaya Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd.
- An advance payment is required to secure permits, staff, and logistics.
- Remaining balance (if applicable) must be paid before the trek starts, as agreed in advance.
Any bank charges or transfer fees are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation policies depend on timing and operational costs already incurred:
Cancellation by the Client:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the trip start date will incur a loss of the 10% deposit.
- Cancellations between a week to 10 days before the trip start date will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations less than 24 Hours before the trip start date will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellation by the Company:
- We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political instability, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, a full refund or an alternative trip will be offered.
Note: Refund decisions are made fairly, considering actual expenses already paid on the client’s behalf and It can be amended also between the clients and the Company’s mutual understanding.
Changes to Itinerary
Trekking or Tour itineraries in remote mountain regions may need to change due to:
- Weather conditions
- Trail conditions
- Health or safety concerns
- Government regulations
- Natural events beyond our control
Manaslu Guides Nepal reserves the right to adjust itineraries for safety and operational reasons. No refunds will be provided for itinerary changes made for client safety.
Health, Fitness & Responsibility
- Clients must be in good physical condition suitable for high-altitude trekking.
- Any medical conditions must be disclosed before arrival.
- Clients are responsible for carrying required personal medications.
Manaslu Guides Nepal and its staff reserve the right to stop or alter a trek if a client’s health or safety is at risk.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is very Important or somehow is mandatory.
Insurance must cover:
- High-altitude trekking
- Emergency evacuation by helicopter
- Medical treatment
- Trip cancellation or interruption
Proof of insurance may be requested before the trek starts.
Permits & Legal Compliance
- Trekking permits are issued according to Nepal government regulations.
- Clients must provide valid passport details for permit processing.
- Failure to provide correct documents may result in trip cancellation without refund.
Guide & Staff Authority
During the trek:
- Clients agree to follow the instructions of the guide.
- Guides have authority to make decisions related to safety, route changes, and daily schedules.
Failure to follow guide instructions may result in removal from the trek without refund.
Risk & Liability
Trekking in the Himalayas involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Altitude sickness
- Weather hazards
- Trail conditions
- Remoteness
Manaslu Guides Nepal and Touch The Himalaya Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. are not responsible for:
- Injuries, illness, or accidents beyond reasonable control
- Delays caused by weather, flights, or natural events
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
Clients participate at their own risk.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Political unrest
- Pandemics
- Government restrictions
- Flight cancellations
In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements where possible.
Use of Photos & Media
Unless otherwise requested in writing, Manaslu Guides Nepal may use trek photos or videos for promotional purposes. Personal identities will be respected.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be resolved under Nepalese jurisdiction.
Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking or participating in a trek, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
